My 2017

2017 has been an incredible year. “A Hole New World” was released, “Conga Master” was released, even on Switch (which also was released last year by the way) and we got the Best Design Award at Tokyo Games Show‘s “Sense of Wonder Night 2017“.

２０１７年はすごい年でした。「A Hole New World」が欧米で発売になって、「Conga Master」もスイッチ版までリリースされて、東京ゲームショウ内イベント「センスオブワンダーナイト2017」で、ベストゲームデザインワードを受賞しました！

2017 ha sido un año, que si mi yo de 2018 hubiese ido a contárselo a mi yo de comienzos del 2017, que no tenía apenas ningún plan en la cabeza, le habría costado digerirlo. Salió “A Hole New World”, salió “Conga Master”, hasta en Switch (¡que se lanzó en marzo!) y nos dieron el Premio a Mejor Diseño en la “Sense of Wonder Night 2017“ del Tokyo Game Show.

This year there are still some exciting announcements related to “A Hole New World” and “Conga Master” left, so stay tuned!

Also in 2017 the development of “Kemono Heroes” and “Superepic” started and we went to several game events like Gamescom and TGS.

今年まだ「A Hole New World」と「Conga Master」と関係ある残っている発表が来ますから、ご期待してください。

２０１７年「Kemono Heroes」と「Superepic」というゲームの開発始めました。そして、色んなゲームイベントに参加しました。「Gamescom」や「東京ゲームショウ」等です。

En 2017 también comenzó el desarrollo de “Kemono Heroes” y de “Superepic“ y tuve la oportunidad de ir a muchos eventos de videojuegos: freakend (genial), Game Boss (maravilloso), Gamelab (que la Academia nominó a A Hole New World como finalista a “Mejor juego de PC” y “Mejor tecnología”), los Burger Indie Awards (con Conga Master nominado), la fiesta de la piscina… Gamescom y Tokyo Game Show.

My 2016

In 2016 I got to work on many games. Conga Master, A Hole New World, Trending Pharaoh, The Wewelsburg Experiment and What Happened to Michael. Unfortunately A Hole New World and the consoles version of Conga Master got delayed to 2017.

２０１６年同僚と一緒にゲームをいっぱい作ってしまいました。「Conga Master」、「A Hole New World」、「Trending Pharaoh」、「The Wewelsburg Experiment」 そして 「What Happened to Michael」です。「A Hole New World」と「Conga Master」のゲーム機版の発売予定は２０１７年になって、残念でした。

En 2016 he tenido la suerte de trabajar en un montón de juegos como Conga Master, A Hole New World, Trending Pharaoh, The Wewelsbug Experiment y What Happened to Michael. No obstante fue una pena que tanto A Hole New World, como la versión de consolas de Conga Master se retrasaran a 2017.

Last year, like most of my peers, I started teaching the noble art of games making in Cadiz and Barcelona. And also beginner level of Japanese through online classes.

昨年もゲームを作っている方の大体の皆さんのように教師になって、カディスとバルセロナでゲームの作り方を教え始めました。初級レベルの日本語も教えています！オンラインなんですが^^。

El año pasado también me convertí, como muchos de mis colegas de profesión, en profesor del noble arte de la creación de jueguicos, en Cádiz y Barcelona. Y también di clases de japonés básico por Internet.

I also had a great time attending several events like the popular Freakend, the super fun Familiar Game Jam in Seville (thanks for inviting me!!), this year’s Gamelab, Indie Burgers, Gamercon in Jerez, Barcelona Games World, Fun & Serious and AZ Play in Bilbao… I wanted to go to even more events but time is limited!

いろんなイベントに参加して、楽しかったです。人気のある「Freakend」、セビリアの「Familiar Game Jam」、毎年行う「Gamelab」、「Indie Burgers」、カディスの「Gamercon」、「Barcelona Games World」、ビルバオで行う「Fun & Serius」と　「AZ Play」などです。他のイベントも参加したかったが、残念ながら時間が足りなかったんですね。

Me lo pasé además pipa asistiendo a eventos como el famoso Freakend, la super divertida Familiar Game Jam en Sevilla (¡¡Gracias por invitarme!!), el Gamelab de este año, los Indie Burgers, Gamercon en Cádiz, Barcelona Games World, el Fun & Serious y AZ Play en Bilbao… Me habría gustado ir a más aún, pero el tiempo es finito.

In 2016 I didn’t have much time to play Go. I could only play Barcelona’s Go tourney. And about my Japanese, I didn’t have much time to study so, even though I tried to play games in Japanese (like Final Fantasy VI and VII) or read books in Japanese (Your Name) I’ve started forgetting kanji at light speed. I must study kanji in 2107!!

２０１６年を通じて、囲碁を打つ時間もなくて、去年のバルセロナ囲碁大会しか参加しませんでした。日本語については、日本語で「ファイナルファンタジー」のVIとVIIというゲームをして、「君の名は」の小説を読んでも、勉強時間もなかったから、漢字がドンドン忘れているんです。２０１７年しっかり勉強しないといけません！！

En 2016 no dediqué demasiado tiempo a jugar al Go, y sólo pude participar en el Torneo de Go de Barcelona. Y mi japonés, a pesar de que intenté jugar a juegos en japonés como Final Fantasy VI y VII o leer algún libro en japonés como Tu Nombre, al no tener tiempo de estudiar, he olvidado un montón de kanjis. ¡¡Toca estudiar en 2017!!

My 2015

In 2015 I’ve been to many places, but there are 4 of them where I’ve spent most of my time. Those are Madrid, Alcocebre (where my parents live most of the time, on the coast), London and Barcelona. Aside from some sightseeing, I did mainly 2 things: I played Go and I made games.

２０１５年で色々な場所に行っていましたが、長い時間暮らしていた場所は四つしかありません。海の村で両親が住んでいる場所とマドリッド、ロンドン、そして、バルセロナです。見物以外やった主要な事は二つでした。囲碁を打つ事とゲームを作る事です。

En 2015 he estado en bastantes sitios pero, donde he pasado más tiempo, diría que ha sido en Madrid, Alcocebre, en la costa, donde viven mayormente mis padres, Londres y Barcelona. Aparte de algo, poco, de turismo, lo que se podría decir que he hecho más es jugar al Go y hacer videojuegos.

Last year I played Go tournaments in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Sepúlveda and Cádiz. And because of that I qualified to play the Spanish Go final. I didn’t have any chances to become the Champion or anything, but I think just playing the Final was quite rewarding.

去年はバルセロナ、マドリッド、ビルバオ、セプルベダ、そして、カディスの囲碁大会に参加して、結局スペインの決勝大会に出ていました。チャンピオンになれるわけないけれど、出るだけで良いじゃないと思っています。

El año pasado jugué los torneos de Go de Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Sepúlveda y Cádiz. Por esta razón, finalmente me clasifiqué para la Final de España de Go. No es que tuviese posibilidad alguna de proclamarme campeón ni nada, pero creo que sólo el hecho de haber podido jugarla es ya un buen premio.

Last year I also went to many gamedev related places and events. Like GamerCon in Cádiz, Playhubs in London, Gamelab in Barcelona, Madrid Games Week, AZ Play/ Fun & Serious in Bilbao and DigitAll Event in Valencia.

去年もたくさんのゲームと関係ある場所とイベントに参加していました。カディスの「GamerCon」、ロンドンの「Playhubs」、バルセロナの「Gamelab」、「Madrid Games Week」、ビルバオの「AZ Play/Fun&Serious」、そしてバレンシアの「DigitAll Event」。

El año pasado también fui a un montón de lugares y eventos relacionados con el desarrollo de juegos. Como la GamerCon en Cádiz, Playhubs en Londres, Gamelab en Barcelona, Madrid Games Week, AZ Play / Fun & Serious en Bilbao y DigitAll Event en Valencia.

While looking for an interesting job, since I got the time, I’ve been working on several games. About the game we started developing in 2014 at Mad Gear Games, A Hole New World, we launched a successful Kickstarter campaign and the game continues in development. Also, two games along our Barcelona friends of Undercoders, one which followed A Hole New World‘s path, a game developed for Ludum Dare that people liked it and we are making bigger and better, Conga Master. And finally in December I started working also in a game in conjunction with Dolores Entertainment.

面白い仕事を探しながら、時間がありますから、ゲーム四つを作っています。２０１４年で開発始まりました「Mad Gear Games」の「A Hole New World」は去年成功したキックスターターキャンペーンを作って、まだ開発しています。「Undercoders」というバルセロナの会社と一緒に「A Hole New World」と同じような「Ludum Dare」に参加するため作ったゲームが人気になって、開発は続いていって、もっといい作品になっている「Conga Master」というゲームともう一つを開発しています。そして、バルセロナもある一つの会社、「Dolores Entertainment」と一緒に１２月ゲームを開発始めました。

Durante la búsqueda de un trabajo interesante, como he tenido tiempo, he trabajado en varios juegos. Sobre el juego que comenzamos a desarrollar en 2014 en Mad Gear Games, A Hole New World, lanzamos una campaña de Kickstarter que salió bien y el juego sigue en desarrollo. También, 2 juegos con los amigos de Undercoders en Barcelona, uno de los cuales siguió la estela de A Hole New World, un juego desarrollado para Ludum Dare que a la gente le gustó y que estamos haciendo más grande y mejor, Conga Master. Y finalmente en diciembre comencé a trabajar también en un juego en conjunto con Dolores Entertainment.

It’s been quite a busy year. Don’t you think ?

It’s been a year since I came back from Japan and while I was checking some of the photos I took there, I thought it would be a good idea to make a video. I’ve uploaded it to Youtube here.

日本からスペインに戻ってきた時からもう1年経ってしまったから、日本で取った写真を見て、動画を作りたいと思いました。作った動画がYoutubeにウップしました。

Ha pasado un año desde que volví de Japón y revisando fotos y videos he decidido coger algunos trozos y hacer un video que he subido a Youtube.

JLPT N2 合格／PASSED！

No lo había dicho pero en Diciembre volví a hacer el Noken N2 y ya me llegó el resultado: ¡APROBADO! :)

言っていなかったけど去年１２月に日本語能力試験２級もう一度受けていたんだ。結果は合格！:)

I didn’t mention that I took the JLPT N2 exam once again in December and the result is I PASSED! :)

My 2014

Mi 2014 empezó en Kyoto, rodeado de amigos y afortunadamente así seguí. Lo pasé bien con ellos yendo a tomar algo por ahí, cantando en el karaoke, yendo a ver templos, etc. Tuve la suerte de poder disfrutar de eventos como el setsubun, el hanami o también el precioso hanabi (o fuegos artificiales) del lago Biwako.

僕は友達に囲まれていて、２０１４年を始まってから、ずっとそうだったから良かった！来年は友達と一緒に居酒屋で美味しい御飯を食べたり、飲んだり、カラオケで遊んだり、お寺とかを見に行ったりして、楽しかった。日本の文化の色んなイベントを見に行く機会があって、面白かった。節分とか、花見とか、琵琶湖の花火大会も美しい。

I started 2014 with friends all around and happily it’s been like that all along. Last year I had good times hanging out with friends going to izakayas, karaokes, visiting temples and all. I was lucky enough to enjoy events like setsubun, hanami or Biwako’s magnificent fireworks (hanabi).

En Kyoto fui este año a diversos eventos centrados en videojuegos. Participé en las competiciones de creación de juegos GGJ2014 y LD30. Fui al BitSummit, donde jugué a muchos juegos indie en un ambiente estupendo, super familiar. Y no me olvido del Kyoto Indie Meetup que se hacía todos los meses además del VITEI Backroom GAME CLUB donde me lo pasaba genial tomando unas cervezas con otros devs. mientras jugábamos a juegos de ayer y hoy. Además, tenía ganas de volver a hacer jueguitos así que estoy contento de haber vuelto a hacer cosillas. ^__^/

京都で色々のゲームのイベントも参加して、いつもすごくいい感じだった。来年GGJ2014とLD30というゲームを作るイベントに参加した。そして、BitSummitでたくさんのインディーズゲームをやって、すごく良い雰囲気だった。毎月もKyoto Indie MeetupとかVITEI Backroom GAME CLUBでビールを飲んだり、ゲームをしたりの事も忘れない。パーティー以外来年もう一回懐かしいのゲームを作っていて、嬉しいんだもん！^__^/

I went in Kyoto to lots of videogames related events. I participated in game making contests like GGJ2014 and LD30, I went to BitSummit where I had the chance to try some cool indie games surrounded by lots of super nice devs, and I cannot forget mentioning the monthly Kyoto Indie Meetup and VITEI Backroom GAME CLUB where I had great fun sharing beers with dev friends while playing great new and old games. Can we copy this city dev atmosphere all around the world please? On a side note, I’m happy to be back on making games, I was missing it so much.

El estudio de japonés continuó como siempre siendo difícil. Hay un día cada semestre que en la escuela se elige a una persona por clase para hacer una presentación a toda la escuela de algún tema y yo fui el elegido. Hablé de reciclaje. También hice el examen de japonés “Noken” N2, pero lamentablemente me quedé a las puertas de aprobar (hacen falta 90 puntos) sacando un 86.

日本語を勉強するのは相変わらず、難しかった。いい方法がないみたいね。日本語学校の発表会でクラスの代表として、初めて日本語で劇場から発表する事になった。リサイクルについてだった。そして、７月の日本語能力試験N2を受けても、残念ながら結果は８６点で不合格してしまった。９０点は合格なんだから、惜しかった！結局スペインに帰国して、どんどん日本語がなくなっている気がする。>_< この記事を読むとそう思わない？

Studying Japanese was hard, as always, but I managed to do my first presentation in Japanese in front of a big audience about… recycling. There’s so much plastic in Japan. And in July I took the JLPT N2 exam which unfortunately didn’t pass scoring an 86 when 90 is required.

Y antes de volver a España, éste año también me recorrí 1000 km. de Japón en bici, estuve en Akihabara, en Tokyo, ayudando con un interesante documental haciendo las preguntas en japonés y traduciendo, y fui a Tailandia desde donde ya me volví.

そうだよ。貯金したお金がなくなってしまって、帰国したんだけど、その前チャリで1000キロの旅行やったんだ！そして、東京の秋葉原でビデオ作品を作っている友達に通訳者としてインタビューをするのを手伝ってあげて、面白かった。最後に、タイに行って、あそこからスペインに戻った。

So eventually I returned to Spain, but before that I did a 3 weeks trip around Japan by bike, I also went to Akihabara, in Tokyo, where I helped a friend on the making of a documentary interviewing people and translating. Very interesting experience. And last, but not least, I went to Thailand for a week.

2015

Ahora estoy aquí, pasando un poco de tiempo con los amigos, la familia, y disfrutando de la comida española, que no está buena ni nada. No obstante ya va siendo hora de ir buscando un nuevo trabajo. Trabajo que decidirá seguro qué tipo de año es este 2015.

今はスペインに居る友達と家族と一緒にちょっと時間を過ごしている。そして、懐かしいのスペイン料理もう食べて、美味しいよ！でも、仕事を探す時間です！どんな仕事に就くによって、2015年はどうなるのかな。

So here I am. Enjoying some time with friends and family and enjoying delicious Spanish food. However, it’s 2015 already and it’s time to find a good job. Depending on that I wonder what kind of year is this 2015 going to be…

En Octubre estuve en Tailandia una semanita y me lo pasé muy bien. Era la primera vez que visitaba Tailandia pero me dio la sensación de haber estado antes ya que, en cierta medida, me pareció como estar en la España de cuando era pequeño. Hasta el color de la Fanta de naranja era el mismo que entonces.

１０月タイで１週間を過ごしていて、楽しかった。タイと言えば、初めてだったけど、懐かしい感じがした。なぜかと言うと、タイで散歩すると子供の頃のスペインを思い出した。ファンタのオレンジ色まで昔のスペインの奴と同じだった。

I went for a week to Tailand in October and I had a great time in there. It was my first time in the country but somehow it felt a bit like being in Spain when I was a child. Even Fanta‘s orange colour is the same it was in Spain at that time.

Estuve en Bangkok. Es una ciudad super grande y que tiene pocos cruces de peatones por lo que no es la mejor ciudad para visitar a pata. No obstante, hay una cantidad sorprendentemente grande de tipos de transporte. Desde motos-taxi, hasta barcos que van por ríos como callecitas estrechas entre las casas, parando como si fuese el tranvía. Me encantó ésto.

タイといっても、バンコックだった。バンコックは広くて、横断歩道が少ないから歩いて観光をするのは無理だ。それにしても、バイクタクシーを初め、交通機関の種類は大変で一杯ある。短い道のような流れている川で、電車みたいな一つ一つ停留所で停止をしていた船を乗るのは特に面白かった。

I stayed in Bangkok. It is a large city, with very few pedestrian crossings so it’s not the best city to do sight seeing walking. But at the same time there is a tremendous amount of different transportation methods available to suit your needs. From taxi-motorbikes, to boats that run on small rivers going through narrow paths in between old houses, stopping like the tram would do. I loved that one.

La comida tailandesa estaba rica, muy barata y me dio la impresión de que cualquier día de la semana hay lugares en los que disfrutar de música en directo mientras te tomas una cerveza con los amigos. Genial. Estoy muy contento de haber tenido amigos que me guiaran por la ciudad.

タイ料理は美味しくて、安い。そして、バンコックで何曜日でも、友達と一緒にビールを飲みながらライブパフォーマンスを楽しめる場所がありそう。それは最高じゃない？友達はいろんな場所を案内してくれて、良かった。

Tai food is tasty, cheap and it seemed to me there are places where you can have a beer with friends while listening to live music anytime during the week. Isn’t that great? I’m really glad I had friends to show me around.

My 2013

I started 2013 still working at Unkasoft for two more months, a company that’s treated me very well. I hurried up to sell some more things before flying to Japan and went to Barcelona to play my last Go tournament in Spain and also to the Mobile World Congress where I hung out with friends and met new people. After lots of Good Byes I left Madrid and 15 hours latter I got to Japan.

Empecé el 2013 trabajando en Unkasoft durante un par de meses más, una empresa que me ha tratado super bien. Me di prisa en vender algunas cosas más antes de volar a Japón y fui Barcelona, a jugar mi último torneo en España y al Mobile World Congress, donde me encontré con los amigos y también conocí a gente nueva. Tras muchos Adiós dejé Madrid y 15 horas más tarde llegué a Japón.

Nice! Japan! So after a week living in Kyoto, for reasons that are maybe too long to explain here, I left to Taiwan. Back in Kyoto I started classes so I met a lot of friendly people from countries near here and some also from more distant places. I visited temples, went to traditional festivals, sang on karaokes, ate good food, and got in love with the possibility of going anywhere by bike and get something to eat or drink no matter where you are or what time it is.

¡Genial!¡Japón! Estuve una semana viviendo en Kyoto y, por razones que quizá sean un poco largas de explicar aquí, me fui a Taiwán. Una vez que volví a Kyoto empezaron las clases así que conocí a un montón de gente muy maja de países cercanos y algunos no tan cercanos. Visité templos, fui a festivales tradicionales, canté en karaokes, comi buena comida y me enamoré de poder ir en bici a cualquier lado y de poder comer y beber algo sin importar dónde estés o qué hora del día sea.

I also started playing at Kyodai‘s Go Club where I also met nice and friendly people who helped me to register and participate in two tournaments in Osaka and also play with professional players. I also participated in some of the school activities and tried also to do some conversation exchange which, again, led me to meet great people. And also this year I went to Korea.

También empecé a jugar al go en el club de la Kyodai donde también conocí a buenísima gente que me ayudó a registrarme y participar en torneos en Osaka y a jugar con jugadores profesionales. También participé en algunas actividades de la escuela y probé a hacer intercambio de idioma que, de nuevo, me llevó a conocer a gente estupenda. También este año fui a Corea.

In September I went to Tokyo visited some places (like the Ghibli Museum again of course), and also went to the Tokyo Game Show and helped promote a bit Age of Aces. But the thing I did the most was meeting with friends and also meeting new awesome people.

En Septiembre fui a Tokyo, visité algunos lugares (como, por supuesto, el Museo Ghibli otra vez), y también fui al Tokyo Game Show a ayudar a promocionar un poco Age of Aces. Pero lo que más hice fue quedar con amigos y también conocer a gente nueva genial.

However, truth be told, most of my time I was at school in the mornings (having fun though) and studying in the library until dinner time. And thus I got to go from Elementary 2 to Intermediate 2.

I thought I was getting the hang of it so I thought about adding to all this something I’ve been looking forward doing for a long time: make a game.

No obstante, todo sea dicho, la mayor parte del tiempo me la pasé en clase por las mañanas (pasándolo bien, eso sí) y estudiando en la biblioteca hasta la hora de cenar. De éste modo conseguí pasar del nivel Elemental 2 al Intermedio 2. Pensaba que le estaba cogiendo el tranquillo a la cosa así que pensé en añadir una cosa más a todo ésto, algo que he estado queriendo hacer desde hace tiempo: hacer un juego.

2014-01-10 08.19.41 And so the summer ended, it started to chill a bit, winter was coming. Intermediate 2 started and just in the first week half of my fellow Elementary 2 students decided to move class to Intermediate 1. I chose to be strong and… god, I’m gonna spend all my life thinking how it would have been studying in Intermediate 1. All the fun of Elementary 2 is gone. Classes are boring to death and the text books are awful, but I have to thank that I have the best teachers I could possibly get. So I’ve been changing the way I study every two weeks, trying to find a way to catch up. No way. I stopped going to the go club, stopped cooking dinners at home and everything else just to have more time to study. And the mid term tests came and went quite bad. So?

Y así el verano se acabó, empezó a refrescar un poco, el invierno se avecina. Comenzó el nivel Intermedio 2 y en la primera semana la mitad de mis compañeros de Elemental 2 decidieron cambiarse a Intermedio 1. Yo elegí quedarme y ser fuerte… madre mía, voy a estar toda mi vida preguntándome cómo habría sido estudiar un curso más bajo. Toda la diversión de Elemental 2 ha desaparecido. Las clases son aburridas hasta decir basta y los libros son horribles, menos mal que tengo los mejores profesores que se podría pedir. Así pues, he estado cambiando mi forma de estudiar como cada 2 semanas, intentando dar la talla. Pero no hay manera oiga. Dejé de ir al club de go, dejé de hacer la cena en casa y todo para conseguir más tiempo para estudiar. Finalmente llegaron los exámenes de mitad del semestre y fueron fatal. Así que ¿qué hacemos?

2014

So the new year is here and I have come to the conclusion that I’m going to learn more getting my life back rather than trying to be studying at all times the boring text books. So I’ve started by hanging up with friends from day 1, playing games (in Japanese), having fun! I’ve also met some of the games developers living in Kyoto.

And since this year I want to do games I’m gonna be attending the Global Game Jam this month. So we’ll see how it goes. I hope all goes well. ^__^/

Así que ya tenemos aquí a 2014 y he llegado a la conclusión de que probablemente voy a aprender bastante más recuperando mi vida antes que pasarme todo el santo día estudiando los aburridos libros. Así que he empezado por quedar con los amigos desde el primer día, jugar a juegos (aunque en Japonés)… divertirme vaya. He conocido a algunos desarrolladores de juegos de Kyoto. Y como este año quiero hacer juegos, me he apuntado al Global Game Jam que se hace este mes. Así que veremos qué tal va la cosa. Espero que todo vaya bien. ^__^/

夏休みに１週間韓国へ行った。ほとんどソウルにいたけど慶州市（キョンジュし）も見に行った。フリオさんが案内してくれて、色々なきれいな所を見に行った。景福宮（キョンボックン）や宗廟（チョンミョ）などもいい所だったが、僕にとってはもっと古びた感じがする建物のほうがみりょくてきで、一番気に入ったのは仏国寺（ブルグクサ）だ。このお寺は石で作った階段もあって、とてもきれいで、１０ウォンこうかのうらのデザインまでなっている。

I went to Korea for a week in summer. I mainly visited Seoul though I also went to Gyeongju. Julio showed me around nice places like Gyeongbokgung and Jongmyo. But those that look more ancient are the one I like the most so my favourite one was Gulguksa. It’s a beautiful temple with it’s stairs made of stone and a sculpture that is carved and all 10 won coins.

Durante las vacaciones de verano fui a Corea una semana. Aunque también fui a Gyeongju, principalmente estuve en Seúl. Julio me hizo de guía y fuimos a ver varios sitios bastante bonitos. Gyeongbokgung y Jongmyo eran buenos sitios pero, como yo prefiero los sitios que tienen más aspecto antiguo, el que más me gustó fue Gulguksa. Ese templo es muy bonito, con sus escaleras de piedra y una escultura que hasta sale en las monedas de 10 won.

ソウルで韓国人の伝統的な家を見て、最近みんな住みたがりそうな新しい家も見た。高い建物ではちの巣のようにみんな同じ。これには本当にびっくりして、面白いと思った。こんなに高い建物につめこまれて生活するのはどうなんだろうと自分にといかけた。ある日ソウルのとなりの山を登ったら、そこから、その建物がよく見えた。

In Seoul I also saw the traditional Corean houses and the new placed where apparently they prefer living nowadays. High skyscrapers, like honeycombs, all very similar. It was a surprise and I find it quite interesting. I wonder how is it to live in those buildings, so many people together. One day I climbed a nearby mount from where you could see those perfectly.

En Seúl, vi también las casas tradicionales de los coreanos y las nuevas casas en las que parece que prefieren vivir ahora. Edificios altos, como panales de abejas, todos iguales. Fue toda una sorpresa y me pareció muy interesante. Me pregunto cómo debe ser la vida de la gente apiñada en estos edificios tan altos. Un día subi a un monte cercano desde el que se podían ver muy bien.

もちろん、建物のみならず、食べ物も色々で、美味しい料理をたくさん食べた。伝統的な韓定食（한정식）は見た目はびっくりして、美味しかった。でも一番気に入った韓国料理はタッカルビ（닭갈비）だよ。うまい！　冷麺（냉면）も美味しかった。

Of course, not all was visiting buildings, I also experienced the flavours of the Korean cuisine. Like the surprising varied hanjeongsik　(한정식) and the tasty neng-myon (냉면). But what I liked the most and I think is the tastier is the dak galbi (닭갈비). Delicious!

Por supuesto no todo fueron edificios, también probé bastantes platos ricos de la cocina Coreana como el tradicional hanjeongsik　(한정식), sorprendente a la vista, o el rico neng-myon (냉면). Pero lo que más me gustó de todo fue el dak galbi (닭갈비). ¡Buenísimo!

フリオ（Julio）さんと囲碁の韓国棋院（한국기원）の友達も、案内してくれて、ありがとう。面白くて楽しくていい経験だった。

So thank you Julio and friends of the Korean Go Assoc. (Hanguk Kiwon – 한국기원) who guided me around. It was an interesting and fun experience!

Así pues muchas gracias a Julio y a los amigos de la Asociación Coreana de Go (Hanguk Kiwon – 한국기원) que me hicieron de guía. Fue una experiencia muy interesante y divertida.

Summer Camp / サマーキャンプ

７月１８日と１９日に学校のサマーキャンプに参加した。京都市には海岸がないけど、京都府には海岸があるよ！ぼくは海が大好きだ！サマーキャンプでどこに行くと思う？あたりまえ！山だ！（笑）ジョックだったよ。海だ！海だ！ ^__^

On July 18th and 19th I joined the school Summer Camp. Kyoto city has no beach but Kyoto prefecture does! I really love the sea, so… guess where we went: That’s right! We went to the mountain! Haha. Nope, of course, we went to the beach.

Los días 18 y 19 de Julio participé en el Summer Camp de mi escuela. La ciudad de Kyoto no tiene playa pero sí que la tiene la Prefectura de Kyoto! A mi me encanta el mar y ¿sabéis dónde fuimos de campamento? ¡Exacto! A la montaña… jaja, que noo, ¡Al mar! ¡Al mar! ^__^

１８日の朝に集まって、バスで行った。とちゅうでボランティアのみんなが作ったゲームをした。たとえば、「かおが６つで目が２１(個)ある。何ですか」というクイズがあった。そして、モールにバスを止めて、スイカとカレーライスの材料を買って、食事して、バスで旅行を続けた。そして、やっと久美浜セミナーハウスに着いた。すごく田舎なのでドコモのけいたいを使うことができなかった。でも、静かだし、涼しいし、景色もきれいし、いいところだと思った。

On the 18th we all met in the morning and jumped into the bus. While on the bus we had fun due to the games the volunteer guys had prepared for us the night before. For instance “It has 6 faces and 21 eyes, what is it?”. Also we had a break at a big mall where we bought water melons and the ingredients to make curry later, and we also had lunch there at a restaurant. After some more time on the bus we finally got to “Hisamihama’s Seminar House“. It was a place so far in the middle of nowhere that my docomo phone didn’t get any signal at all. However, it was quiet, not as hot as Kyoto city and the landscape was beautiful. A nice place indeed!

El día 18 por la mañana nos reunimos y nos fuimos en autobús. Durante el viaje nos lo pasamos bien haciendo juegos que habían preparado los voluntarios japoneses que venían con nosotros. Por ejemplo “¿Qué tiene 6 caras y 21 ojos?”. Además paramos en unos grandes almacenes donde compramos sandías y los ingredientes para hacer arroz con curry y comimos en un restaurante. Tras otro rato en el autobús finalmente llegamos a la “Casa de Seminarios de Hisamihama“. Un lugar tan alejado de todo que mi teléfono (con docomo) no tenía cobertura. No obstante el sitio era muy tranquilo, fresquito y el paisaje precioso. Un buen sitio!

午後、海で遊んだり、スイカ割りをしたりしたよ！楽しかった！初めてだったけど棒でスイカを半分に割ったよ。まだ信じられない！そのあとで、晩ご飯にカレーライスを食べた。デザートはもちろんスイカだったよ。寝る前に、こわい話や花火やカードゲームなどをした。

That afternoon we went to the beach to have fun on the water and also we did “suikawari“. Super fun. Even though it was the first time, I cut the water melon in two. I could not believe it! After that we had the curry rice dinner with, of course, water melon as desert. Before going to bed we did some scary storytelling, played card games and little fireworks and sparklers.

Aquella tarde fuimos a la playa a divertirnos en el agua e hicimos “suikawari“. Super divertido. Aunque era la primera vez que lo hacía, partí la sandía en dos. ¡Aún no me lo creo! Después cenamos el arroz con curry y de postre, por supuesto, sandía. Antes de dormir contamos historias de miedo, jugamos a las cartas, fuegos artificiales y bengalas…

次の日、朝ご飯のあとで、海蔵寺で座禅をした。それからその辺の海岸ですなで変な音がした。さいごに、天橋立へ行った。天橋立はすごくきれいだった！リフトで山を登ったら、景色はめっちゃきれいだった。やっぱり、日本三景の一つだよ！

Next day, after breakfast we did some “Zazen“ at Kaizouji temple. We also went to a near by beach were the sand did weird noises when you played with it. And as a gorgeous ending we went to Amanohashidate. Such a beautiful place. We went up the mount by chair lift and saw an awesome landscape. No wonder it’s considered one of the 3 most beautiful places in Japan.

Al día siguiente tras desayunar, practicamos la meditación “Zazen“ en el templo Kaizouji. Y también fuimos a una playa allí cerca en la que se podían hacer ruidos raros con la arena. Finalmente fuimos a Amanohashidate. Un sitio increíblemente bonito. Subimos el monte en telesilla y vimos un paisaje precioso. Con razón es uno de los que, dicen, son los 3 paisajes más bonitos de Japón.

サマーキャンプはすごく楽しかった。観光も、スイカ割りも、ゲームも、天橋立もとてもよかだった。そのうえ３０人の友達もできた！　：）

The Summer Camp has been super fun. All the time really, whether at the bus, the beach, the games… I’ve loved the whole thing. But most importantly, I’ve made 30 new friends! :)

El campamento de verano ha sido super divertido. El viaje, el suikawari, los juegos, Amanohashidate… me ha encantado. Pero por encima de todo, ¡he hecho 30 nuevos amigos! :)

P.S.: ところで、「かおが６つで目が２１(個)ある。何ですか。」の答えはサイコロです。

P.S.: Incidentally, “It has 6 faces and 21 eyes, what is it?”. The answer is a dice.
