Mientras mis amigos Juan y Sergio siguieron pedaleando un poco más, yo me volví a Kyoto en Shinkansen desde Fukuoka. En total, algo más de 1.000 Km. en bici en los que vi y aprendí muchas cosas.

友達フアンさんとセルヒョ先輩がもうちょっと自転車で旅行を続いているのに対して、僕は福岡から新幹線で京都に帰った。自転車で全部１０００キロ以上を通りながら、色々な事を習っていた。

While my friends Sergio and Juan continued a bit further, I came back to Kyoto. Summing up it’s been a bit more than 1,000 Km. by bicycle seeing and learning lots of new things.

Por ejemplo, que los conductores van despacito y respetan mucho a los ciclistas. También que la gente deja el coche encendido (supongo que por el aire acondicionado) mientras compran en el konbini. Que a veces es más fácil encontrar una peluquería que un sitio para comer. Colegios también hay un montón. Hay muchos sitios donde hay canciones de despertador o para dar las horas y que muy pronto por la mañana las personas mayores salen a hacer ejercicios al parque. Fuera de Kyoto he visto que los niños que van en bici suelen llevar siempre un casco estándar. Hay personajes de Ghibli repartidos por toda la geografía japonesa. Desgraciadamente Miyazaki tenía razón, y a diferencia de en la ciudad en campos y playas siempre se ve basura. Y una cosa más, Japón está lleno de mosquitos! >_<

例えば、自転車を追い越す時、車の運転手が優しくて、ゆっくり離れて、追い越す。もう習ったのは、人に対して、コンビニで買い物をしながら、車がそのまま、つけている。エアコンのためかな？そして、日本の村で何かを食べれる場所より理容室が見つかりやすい！学校も一杯ある。色々な場所でスピーカーでアラームとして、曲が聞こえる。そして、朝速く、高齢者が運動をしている。京都意外、自転車を運転している子供は同じ種類のヘルメットを被っている。他のは、どこでもスタジオジブリのキャラクターが描いてある。そして、残念ながら、宮崎監督が言ったように、町と違う、道路の近く、山と海岸にゴミが一杯会った。蚊も一杯！＞＿＜

So a few of the things I’ve learned are that drivers in Japan are very respectful with cyclists, they drive slowly and pass you trying to be as far from you as possible. Also I saw that people leave the cars on while at the konbini, I guess it’s because of the air conditioner. Traveling around, sometimes it’s easier to find barber shops than places to eat something. There are also lots of schools, everywhere. As an alarm clock, in the morning or as each hour chime, some melodies are played through loud speakers in some places like parks. And old people frequently go very early in the morning to do some physical exercises. Outside Kyoto I’ve seen that kids wear kind of a standard helmet while they’re on their bicycles. Also, there are Ghibli characters all around Japan. And unfortunately, director Miyazaki was right in that there’s rubbish in mountains and coasts. Also lots of mosquitoes! >_<

No obstante, Japón tiene paisajes preciosos, es muy sencillo hacer un viaje así gracias a cosas como la amabilidad de la gente, los konbinis y las Coin Laundry, y ha sido una gran experiencia ^__^. Muchas gracias también a mis dos compañeros de viaje, y especialmente a Sergio que hizo de lider de la expedición y nos ayudó un montón.

しかし、日本で、すばらしくて、すごく美しい景色もあるし、コンビニもあるし、コインランドリーもあるし、その上、日本人の優しさのおかげで、こんな旅行なんてができて、面白くて、楽しい経験になった。友達にも、特にセルヒョ先輩、色々な時助けてもらって、ありがとう。

However, Japan has beautiful sceneries and things like the kind people living around, konbinis everywhere, Coin Laundry shops, etc. that make doing a trip like this much more pleasant and a great experience ^__^. Also thanks to my travel mates, specially Sergio who did the job as leader and helped us a lot.
