\"8447109793_07581d629f_b\"<\/a>I started 2013 still working<\/strong> at Unkasoft<\/em> for two more months, a company that’s treated me very well. I hurried up to sell some more things before flying to Japan and went to Barcelona to play my last Go tournament in Spain and also to the Mobile World Congress<\/em> where I hung out with friends and met new people. After lots of Good Byes<\/em> I left Madrid<\/strong> and 15 hours latter I got to Japan<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Empec\u00e9 el 2013 trabajando<\/strong> en Unkasoft<\/em> durante un par de meses m\u00e1s, una empresa que me ha tratado super bien. Me di prisa en vender algunas cosas m\u00e1s antes de volar a Jap\u00f3n y fui Barcelona, a jugar mi \u00faltimo torneo en Espa\u00f1a y al Mobile World Congress<\/em>, donde me encontr\u00e9 con los amigos y tambi\u00e9n conoc\u00ed a gente nueva. Tras muchos Adi\u00f3s<\/em> dej\u00e9 Madrid<\/strong> y 15 horas m\u00e1s tarde llegu\u00e9 a Jap\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"8619586306_8cb0d75251_b\"<\/a>Nice! Japan! So after a week living in Kyoto<\/strong>,\u00a0for reasons that are maybe too long to explain here, I left to Taiwan<\/a>. Back in Kyoto I started classes<\/strong> so I met a lot of friendly people<\/strong> from countries near here and some also from more distant places. I visited temples, went to traditional festivals, sang on karaokes, ate good food, and got in love with the possibility of going anywhere by bike and get something to eat or drink no matter where you are or what time it is.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a1Genial!\u00a1Jap\u00f3n! Estuve una semana viviendo en Kyoto<\/strong> y, por razones que quiz\u00e1 sean un poco largas de explicar aqu\u00ed, me fui a Taiw\u00e1n<\/a>. Una vez que volv\u00ed a Kyoto empezaron las clases<\/strong> as\u00ed que conoc\u00ed a un mont\u00f3n de gente muy maja<\/strong> de pa\u00edses cercanos y algunos no tan cercanos. Visit\u00e9 templos, fui a festivales tradicionales, cant\u00e9 en karaokes, comi buena comida y me enamor\u00e9 de poder ir en bici a cualquier lado y de poder comer y beber algo sin importar d\u00f3nde est\u00e9s o qu\u00e9 hora del d\u00eda sea.<\/p>\n

I also started playing at Kyodai<\/a>‘s Go Club<\/strong> where I also met nice and friendly people<\/strong> who helped me to register and participate in two tournaments in Osaka and also play with professional players. I also participated in some of the school activities and tried also to do some conversation exchange which, again, led me to meet great people<\/strong>. And also this year I went to Korea<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n empec\u00e9 a jugar al go en el club de la Kyodai<\/a> <\/strong>donde tambi\u00e9n conoc\u00ed a buen\u00edsima gente<\/strong> que me ayud\u00f3 a registrarme y participar en torneos en Osaka y a jugar con jugadores profesionales. Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00e9 en algunas actividades de la escuela y prob\u00e9 a hacer intercambio de idioma que, de nuevo, me llev\u00f3 a conocer a gente estupenda<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n este a\u00f1o fui a Corea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In September I went to Tokyo<\/strong> visited some places (like the Ghibli Museum again of course), and also went to the Tokyo Game Show<\/strong><\/em> and helped promote a bit Age of Aces<\/em><\/span><\/a>. But the thing I did the most was meeting with friends<\/strong> and also meeting new awesome people<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

En Septiembre fui a Tokyo<\/strong>, visit\u00e9 algunos lugares (como, por supuesto, el Museo Ghibli otra vez), y tambi\u00e9n fui al Tokyo Game Show<\/strong><\/em> a ayudar a promocionar un poco\u00a0Age of Aces<\/em><\/a>. However, truth be told, most of my time I was<\/strong> at school in the mornings (having fun though) and studying<\/strong> in the library until dinner time. And thus I got to go from Elementary 2 to Intermediate 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

I thought I was getting the hang of it so I thought about adding to all this something I’ve been looking forward doing for a long time: make a game.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

No obstante, todo sea dicho, la mayor parte del tiempo me la pas\u00e9<\/strong> en clase por las ma\u00f1anas (pas\u00e1ndolo bien, eso s\u00ed) y estudiando<\/strong> en la biblioteca hasta la hora de cenar. De \u00e9ste modo consegu\u00ed pasar del nivel Elemental 2 al Intermedio 2. Pensaba que le estaba cogiendo el tranquillo a la cosa as\u00ed que pens\u00e9 en a\u00f1adir una cosa m\u00e1s a todo \u00e9sto, algo que he estado queriendo hacer desde hace tiempo: hacer un juego.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"2014-01-10And so the summer ended, it started to chill a bit, winter was coming. Intermediate 2 started<\/strong> and just in the first week half of my fellow Elementary 2 students decided to move class to Intermediate 1. I chose to be strong and… god, I’m gonna spend all my life thinking how it would have been studying in Intermediate 1. All the fun of Elementary 2 is gone. Classes are boring to death and the text books are awful, but I have to thank that I have the best teachers I could possibly get. So I’ve been changing the way I study every two weeks, trying to find a way to catch up. No way.<\/strong> I stopped going to the go club, stopped cooking dinners at home and everything else just to have more time to study. And the mid term tests came and went quite bad. So?<\/span><\/p>\n

\"11493144026_6eb7d14353_b\"<\/a>Y as\u00ed el verano se acab\u00f3, empez\u00f3 a refrescar un poco, el invierno se avecina. Comenz\u00f3 el nivel Intermedio 2<\/strong> y en la primera semana la mitad de mis compa\u00f1eros de Elemental 2 decidieron cambiarse a Intermedio 1. Yo eleg\u00ed quedarme y ser fuerte… madre m\u00eda, voy a estar toda mi vida pregunt\u00e1ndome c\u00f3mo habr\u00eda sido estudiar un curso m\u00e1s bajo. Toda la diversi\u00f3n de Elemental 2 ha desaparecido. Las clases son aburridas hasta decir basta y los libros son horribles, menos mal que tengo los mejores profesores que se podr\u00eda pedir. As\u00ed pues, he estado cambiando mi forma de estudiar como cada 2 semanas, intentando dar la talla. Pero no hay manera<\/strong> oiga. Dej\u00e9 de ir al club de go, dej\u00e9 de hacer la cena en casa y todo para conseguir m\u00e1s tiempo para estudiar. Finalmente llegaron los ex\u00e1menes de mitad del semestre y fueron fatal. As\u00ed que \u00bfqu\u00e9 hacemos?<\/p>\n

So the new year is here and I have come to the conclusion that I’m going to learn more getting my life back<\/strong> rather than trying to be studying at all times the boring text books. So I’ve started by hanging up with friends from day 1, playing games (in Japanese), having fun!<\/strong> I’ve also met some of the games developers living in Kyoto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And since this year I want to do games I’m gonna be attending the Global Game Jam<\/em><\/strong> this month. So we’ll see how it goes. I hope all goes well<\/strong><\/em>. ^__^\/<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As\u00ed que ya tenemos aqu\u00ed a 2014 y he llegado a la conclusi\u00f3n de que probablemente voy a aprender bastante m\u00e1s recuperando mi vida<\/strong> antes que pasarme todo el santo d\u00eda estudiando los aburridos libros. As\u00ed que he empezado por quedar con los amigos desde el primer d\u00eda, jugar a juegos (aunque en Japon\u00e9s)… divertirme<\/strong> vaya. He conocido a algunos desarrolladores de juegos de Kyoto. Y como este a\u00f1o quiero hacer juegos, me he apuntado al Global Game Jam<\/em><\/strong> que se hace este mes. As\u00ed que veremos qu\u00e9 tal va la cosa. Espero que todo vaya bien<\/strong>.<\/em> ^__^\/<\/strong><\/p>\n
