On July 18th and 19th I joined the school Summer Camp<\/strong>. Kyoto city has no beach but Kyoto prefecture does! I really love the sea, so… guess where we went: That’s right! We went to the mountain! Haha. Nope, of course, we went to the beach<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los d\u00edas 18 y 19 de Julio particip\u00e9 en el Summer Camp<\/strong> de mi escuela. La ciudad de Kyoto no tiene playa pero s\u00ed que la tiene la Prefectura de Kyoto! A mi me encanta el mar y \u00bfsab\u00e9is d\u00f3nde fuimos de campamento? \u00a1Exacto! A la monta\u00f1a… jaja, que noo, \u00a1Al mar! \u00a1Al mar! ^__^<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the 18th we all met in the morning<\/strong> and jumped into the bus<\/strong>. While on the bus we had fun due to the games<\/strong> the volunteer guys had prepared for us the night before. For instance “It has 6 faces and 21 eyes, what is it?”<\/em>. Also we had a break at a big mall where we bought water melons<\/strong> and<\/strong> the ingredients to make curry<\/strong> later, and we also had lunch there at a restaurant. After some more time on the bus we finally got to “Hisamihama’s Seminar House<\/a>“<\/strong>. It was a place so far in the middle of nowhere<\/strong> that my docomo phone didn’t get any signal at all. However, it was quiet, not as hot as Kyoto city and the landscape was beautiful. A nice place indeed!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

El d\u00eda 18 por la ma\u00f1ana<\/strong> nos reunimos y nos fuimos en autob\u00fas<\/strong>. Durante el viaje nos lo pasamos bien haciendo juegos<\/strong> que hab\u00edan preparado los voluntarios japoneses que ven\u00edan con nosotros. Por ejemplo “\u00bfQu\u00e9 tiene 6 caras y 21 ojos?”<\/em>. Adem\u00e1s paramos en unos grandes almacenes donde compramos sand\u00edas y<\/strong> los ingredientes para hacer arroz con curry<\/strong> y comimos en un restaurante. Tras otro rato en el autob\u00fas finalmente llegamos a la “Casa de Seminarios de Hisamihama<\/a>“.<\/strong> Un lugar tan alejado de todo que mi tel\u00e9fono (con docomo) no ten\u00eda cobertura. No obstante el sitio era muy tranquilo, fresquito y el paisaje precioso. Un buen sitio!<\/strong><\/p>\n

That afternoon we went to the beach<\/strong> to have fun on the water and also we did\u00a0“suikawari<\/span><\/a>“<\/strong>. Super fun. Even though it was the first time, I cut the water melon in two<\/strong>. I could not believe it! After that we had the curry rice dinner with, of course, water melon as desert. Before going to bed we did some scary storytelling, played card games and little fireworks<\/strong> and sparklers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquella tarde fuimos a la playa<\/strong> a divertirnos en el agua e hicimos “suikawari<\/a>“<\/strong>. Super divertido. Aunque era la primera vez que lo hac\u00eda, part\u00ed la sand\u00eda en dos<\/strong>. \u00a1A\u00fan no me lo creo! Despu\u00e9s cenamos el arroz con curry y de postre, por supuesto, sand\u00eda. Antes de dormir contamos historias de miedo, jugamos a las cartas, fuegos artificiales<\/strong> y bengalas…<\/p>\n

Next day, after breakfast we did some\u00a0\u00a0“Zazen<\/span><\/a>“<\/strong> at\u00a0Kaizouji<\/span><\/a>\u00a0temple. We also went to a near by beach were the sand did weird noises when you played with it. And as a gorgeous ending we went to\u00a0Amanohashidate<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. Such a beautiful place. We went up the mount by chair lift and saw an awesome landscape. No wonder it’s considered one of the 3 most beautiful places in Japan<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Al d\u00eda siguiente tras desayunar, practicamos la meditaci\u00f3n “Zazen<\/a>“<\/strong> en el templo Kaizouji<\/a>. Y tambi\u00e9n fuimos a una playa all\u00ed cerca en la que se pod\u00edan hacer ruidos raros con la arena. Finalmente fuimos a Amanohashidate<\/a><\/strong>. Un sitio incre\u00edblemente bonito. Subimos el monte en telesilla y vimos un paisaje precioso. Con raz\u00f3n es uno de los que, dicen, son los 3 paisajes m\u00e1s bonitos de Jap\u00f3n<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Summer Camp has been super fun<\/strong>. All the time really, whether at the bus, the beach, the games… I’ve loved the whole thing. But most importantly, I’ve made 30 new friends! :)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

El campamento de verano ha sido super divertido<\/strong>. El viaje, el suikawari, los juegos, Amanohashidate… me ha encantado. Pero por encima de todo, \u00a1he hecho 30 nuevos amigos! \u00a0:)<\/strong><\/p>\n
